GOOD TO KNOW

  • All tours take place in the East and Midlands of Ireland, the culturally designated ‘Ancient East’. For you this means maximum journey times of about 90 minutes to our destination area and short trips between stops. That leaves more time for you to actually see the sites.
  • The visits on our tours take place both indoors and outdoors and some paths may be unpaved and uneven and/or some are on gentle slopes. However, all are manageable for the inexperienced walker.
  • As you may know, there is no bad weather in Ireland, just unsuitable clothing. Our tours will go ahead whatever the weather.
  • Further information can be found under the relevant tour descriptions.
