Do I have to book in advance?
Yes. You can do this by going to our booking page. Full advance payment is required to book a space. You will receive booking confirmation by email. Places on a tour can be booked online until 13:00 on the day before the tour.
How many people will be on the tour?
Tours and Eventsgenerally run with a minimum of 20 persons and maximum of 40.
How many people can I book in a single booking?
Maximum of 6 persons on a single booking. The person who makes the booking must bring identification on the tour.
What happens if I arrive late?
We cannot wait for latecomers as we are on a tight schedule. There will be no refund for guests who do not show up on time as we have to keep to the tour schedule.
Is there a toilet on the bus?
No, there is no toilet on the bus. Journey times are usually between 45 and 90 minutes. There will be ample time at the official stops to use toilets and extra stops are not planned.
Can I book a private tour or a tour for a group of friends?

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
There is no wheelchair lift on the coach, but wheelchairs may be accommodated in the luggage hold if the guest can climb into the bus. Please contact us before booking to ensure there are wheelchair friendly venues available on the tour on your preferred date. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please see the details of the individual tours. It is expected that everyone who signs up for the tour will be in a physical condition to take part.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The tour will go on unless there is a severe weather warning issued by the Meteorological Office which recommends people to stay indoors. This is Ireland; it rains sometimes! Umbrellas, rain coat and sun cream are all strongly recommended. Generally, tours will not be cancelled in case of bad weather. We find a bit of wind and rain creates atmosphere. Bring a life jacket if you are worried.
Cancellation of tours by Martin J. Kelly Tours
In the unlikely event that less than 20 people are booked by 13.00 on the day before the tour, it will be cancelled and your costs refunded or you will be offered an alternative date. In order that we can reach you at short notice we would ask that you include your full telephone number.
In this case you will be refunded the full cost of the tour through your chosen method of payment. This can take up to 14 days depending on the bank.

Are there student discounts available?
Yes. Students and children under 14 will be given a refund of € 5 on production of a valid student id card.
